Well, I finished the two canvases that I bought on Saturday. It was so relaxing and nice to be able to paint and get away from some of the stuff going on in life right now. So...I promised I would post pictures, so here they are!

I'm a 25 year old Christ-follower, and this blog was started primarily as a way to keep in touch with a small-ish audience of family and friends during my first years of post-grad employment overseas. It has since grown to be an opportunity to share with a broader audience what I'm learning and experiencing in the adventure of young adulthood as a single, Jesus-loving woman living in a foreign country, getting healthy, and pouring my life into discipling college students.

I know I don't know u from a bar-a-soap but I'm sorry u lost yr dear Pebbles, yr beaut mate & faithful friend. I miss my ole dog too. Who knows? Cud b friends in the next world, havin a fine ole time(I am a Christian chic, & new to this blogging thing.)I like your paintings. I like how u put a word on them... it makes em real meaningful. I've been thinking about putting a word on my drawings, but I find it hard to choose. How do u?
Wow...sorry. I just noticed this comment and I'm sorry it's taken me so long to respond. :-)
This particular series of paintings was done as a sort of "therapy project" after my boyfriend and I broke up. The words I chose were ones that had a special significance to me by way of what God was teaching me or providing me at the time.
